T-Shirts For Dogs

BY: Madison Seelye and Audrey Hoey-Kummerow

Donate your t-shirts now to your advisory

Have you heard? West Middle School has an important thing they’re doing if you donate t-shirts to your advisory. Craft Club will create something cool, making dog toys out of the t-shirts you donated and giving them to the Humane Society. Make sure that the t-shirts do NOT have texture! However they can have design. If you would like to help make the dog toys, go to Craft Club. Make this world a better and happier place one dog toy at a time.

Fourteen Ways to be Happy

(all the time)
A Simple Guide by Molly Roecker
1)      Look up pictures of your favorite animals
2)      Pretend like a T- Rex is trying to make your bed, and…
3)      …if that doesn’t work whisper “beep – boop” to yourself
4)      Always think of positive outcomes of possibly negative situations
5)      Think of turtles doing rap battles
6)      Think of your favorite foods
7)      Eat happy foods (yellow foods)
8)      Do a good deed. It will make you smile, at the very least
9)      Invite your best friend over
10)  If you’re having a bad day, just remember tomorrow is a new day, a clean slate.
11)  LAUGH AS LOUDLY AND FORCEFULLY AS YOU CAN EVEN IF THERE IS NOTHING FUNNY HAPPENING
12)  Sing a happy song
13)  Be grateful for all you have
14)  Last, but certainly not least, smile

Four Things Kids Can’t Seem to Live Without These Days

By Cami Palmer

1.       Phones
Kids cannot seem to go thirty minutes without their phones. The social media (twitter, facebook, Instagram, snapchat), games, texting, facetiming, browsing the interweb, and more. You can’t be on your phone for just five minutes.

2.       Food
All the good food surrounding you- cupcakes, pizza, pancakes, donuts, pudding, Nutella, cheese, Oreos, and more!! How could you not just help yourself?

3.       Emojis
You can practically communicate with them.

4.       Puppies
They are just so darn cute!! Pugs, Golden Retrievers, Pomeranians, French Bulldogs, Border Collies, and more!

April Fool’s Day

By Max Fagan and Bryce Smethers

April Fool’s Day is coming up and we thought that we could share some pranks to do to your friends.

           - You can replace frosting with tooth paste on Oreos
·        - Replace salt with sugar, and vice versa
·       -  Pretend mashed potatoes are ice cream and gravy is hot fudge, then make a “sundae”
·         -Make caramel apples with onions instead of actual apples
·         -Glue coins to the ground

These are just some of the many hilarious pranks you can do on family, friends, or just strangers.

Disclaimer: Do not do these at West Middle School
