do you think about giving kids iPads? Is it a bad idea?

1. “Fantastic,
creative, educational tool.”
2. “It
allows students to have a lot more independence, but I think teachers have to
keep in mind that not all students are comfortable with the technology so we
have to be patient.”

would give them the holographic projections that Princess Leia gave R2D2.”

lot less paper. We submit work online. I can see every answer you write in your
bell ringer so I know who understands it and who doesn’t immediately. That’s

think that they are great tools especially for our class, now that we have the

like I-books, but I don’t mind giving the kids iPads. They teach me new things
everyday about the iPads.”

in class I don’t know how it will affect the class, but I can assign them work
on Big Ideas Math, see if they need one on one help, and they get immediate
feedback.”

would give them an I-book. The biggest reason I would give them I-books is
because you can print, they have an actual keyboard, and actual programs like
word.”

because we don’t have to wait for each other when using classroom iPads.”
