Mrs.
Mellenbruch started the Art Club because she saw a need for the school to be
“dressed up spiritually.” She believes the Art Club members come because they
want to make a positive change in the school’s appearance. The Art Club’s
current project is called the “Diversitree” in the Warhawk Café, and all
students will help create it by having their thumbprint put on the tree. It
will be in the southeast corner of the cafeteria, by the water fountain. The
Art Club members put in a lot of effort and work to make the school more artsy.
The Art Club works to be inspiring and creative for everyone who sees potential
in a blank wall.
